This is a picture of my niece Janis and her husband, Chris. They just moved to Maryland ( DC area) this summer for an intership at the NIH...with their 2 darling little twin boys. The look like the picture of health now......but they started out premature and were in the hospital for quite a while after their birth. They had the twin to twin syndrome and Janis had to be on bed rest for several months of her pregnancy. They had surgery inutero...and survived. They are amazing little guys with amazing parents. They have been down to visit 2x's. They brought another niece, Marin, last weekend while she was in town visiting them. We have been so impressed with how well they are doing with everything. It is alot of work doing one baby, let alone two. We are so happy the babies are doing well and so glad we have had a chance to see them. We pray for their long term success.

TTS is really tough to go through. My two nephews had the same problem. They are doing well now. It is wonderful to see these new spirits and the blessing they are to us.
What a small world! Janis and her boys were Dr Balls other Orem TTTS babies. I kind of recognized Janis, then a set of twins, and knew it had to be her. How fun. I am Laurene's brother's wife. How do you know Laurene?
Thank you so much for letting us visit your family. We love coming down there. You rocked as the The Great Dalmuti. We're truly grateful for the research and work that has gone into combating TTTS.
