Celine and Elvis : Awesome

American Idol showed this awesome video a while back. It is amazing how they put it together.A friend sent it to me because she knew I loved Elvis. Just thought I'd share it. I bet they could put a lot of singers with Elvis and it would be so cool. He would be so impressed and so proud.

We are having our ELEVENTH grandchild

We found out yesterday that we are having another grandson, who will be our 11th grandchild. That will give us 5 boys and 6 girls. Another missionary in the making. And Greg is thrilled that the Romans name will carry on in another branch of our family tree. This will be the 4th child of Denton and Marissa, 1 girl and 3 boys. Which is exactly the pattern we followed. But then we had baby Lindsay to finish off the family and give Chelsea a sister. I won't suggest that right now:) We are excited to have another little blessing join our family. They sure make cute kids and we pray for a healthy. happy baby and mother.

Cinco De Mayo Tables

Every year for many years I have been hosting a Cinco De Mayo party. The guest list varies except for a few party faithfuls that tell me it is the highlight of their social calendar. Flattery gets you everywhere......and sometimes I even believe them. Not sure if that means they have a really lame social life...or if it means my party is the best thing ever. Regardless, I think it is fun and I keep carrying on the tradition. I will do anything to eat mexican food.

Here are my tables. They are always the same but games change every year.

Hasta Luego!

Ellie gets Baptized

Our second grandchild, Ellie Etiene Romans got baptized Saturday, June 6th, by her dad, Jordan.Grandma Suzie flew out to be there to celebrate and support her. Grandpa had to stay home to work after taking a week off for our family reunion.Sadly, Ellie was so sick on her baptism day..had a fever and the chills. But she looked beautiful anyway. She had lots of family and friends there to support her. The Bishop told us that Ellie was a very bright and articulate little girl...which we already knew. And he felt confident that she knew all the correct answers and understood the meaning and importance of her baptism. Her parents had a lovely lunch following the service at their home for all the guests. It was delicious. Despite her feeling bad, it was a very special day and we are happy for Ellie to have this blessing in her life.

Happy 8th Birthday Ellie!

My 2nd granchild is eight years old. I can't believe how grown up she is getting. Her mom describes her like this and I agree with her. "She is such a great little girl (who is not so little anymore). She is sweet and smart and funny and kind. She is such a great big sister and friend and helper. She has made the decision to be baptized and will be on Saturday, but that will be another post. We really couldn't be more proud of her! "

My sentiments exactly. I am actually in Utah to witness the baptism tommorrow.Ellie will be our 2nd granddaughter baptized. I hope to post some of those pictures later.

Ellie gets to dance in "Stadium of Fire" this year. She is a great little dancer and good student. it has been fun to be here for her big 8 birthday and the baptism tommorrow.

Ellie you are so awesome and we love you.
