The Wedding Trip to California

Chelsea and I spent a week in Califronia for the wedding of my childhood friend Denise's daughter, Kara. We had lunch by the beach in Malibu and drove up the coast at the beginning of the week......and then partied every day and night for some kind of celebration. We saw an array of American flags on the Pepperdine College Campus on 9/11. It was breathtaking. This picture doesn't do it justice. We got pedicures with the wedding gals and even fit in a little shopping. We stayed with another good friend, Linda. She and Denise were both bridesmaids in my wedding.  We go back many, many years. I only have a few pictures Chelsea took. The wedding was spectacular.....an Italian Villa out in the middle of a lemon and orange grove. If I didn't know any better, I would have sworn we were in Italy.  But it looked like the California I grew up in. The place was so beautiful.....a sit down Italian dinner outdoors in the most perfect weather with dancing and all the hoopla. Someone who came to the wedding took a picture of Jay Leno in one of his cars on their way...he must live out there somewhere. We had a blast.  It was really fun to share in all the excitement and spend the week with Chelsea and so many great friends. We also saw another good friend Shelece.....but that is another post when we get the pictures from that loaded. I also got to see my childhood home.....it was for sale for $1,250,000. Boy do I wish my dad had never sold it. He designed it and had it built. It was the greatest house and I have so many memories of great times there. It was fun to go down memory lane...seems like such a long time ago. It took me a week to adjust to the western time zone and now it is taking me a week ot get adjusted back to eastern time.....that it why I am up so late posting.
