I drove to Raleigh, N.C. yesterday so I could come to the grandparents day breakfast and Chloe and Felix's school today. They had a nice spread of food ( fruit, yogurt, sweet rolls and orange juice) in their school cafeteria. After breakfast, we got to tour the school and go to each of their classes to meet their teachers. Mrs. Macky for Felix ( kindergarten) and Mr. Harvey for Coco (2nd grade). I even met the assistant principal that was very nice. We had a nice time and they have a very nice school. Evie stayed with me in the main office reading stories while Chelsea put up her posters ( She is in charge of the "Reflections" contest this year.) Sunday we go to Charlotte, N.C. Sunday for the blessing of my niece's baby. Then I will drive home on Monday. I am having a fun time. Raleigh has some beautiful scenery. And it is fun to be here with the Woods. Grandpa wanted to come but is home holding down the fort, literally, ( we are expecting torrential rain from Hurricane Hannah) and working.
