Happy Birthday Clayton Tyler Romans!

Now 2 days later, it is Clayton's 27th birthday on June 28th! He goes by various nick names...Ruffy. Scruffy , Claydogg, Claty. Clayton lives in Arlington, Va, ( DC) and just graduated from Georgetown Law School. He did his undergraduate degree at BYU. He was our 4th BYU graduate. He is going to work for the Department off Homeland Security in the fall. He had always loved government and politics from a young age. I think he is especially interested in Public Policy. He was named a Presidential Management Fellow which allows him to check out other agencies for 2 years while they help pay back his school loans. Although he has had a great scholarship, it is very expensive to go to school at Georgetown. He also worked during law school some which I guess funded all his trips out of the country. He has been to Italy and Purto Rico already this year. He started reading the Wall Street Journal when he was a little kid. He is a very bright boy with a great sense of humor and fun personality. His nieces and nephews love him and call him Tio. They are always excited when he comes to visit. Clayton also served a president of his senior class and was especially loved by all his teachers. In fact, he used to go out to dinner with a few of them. He has always gotton along well with adults , as well as kids. When he was small, people used to say he was an adult in a little kids body because he had such a large vocabulary. I think that came from all his reading....or his very intelligent parents :) Clayton served a mission in Paraguay. He speaks fluent spanish and has also lived in Chile and Mexico City. He loves the Latin culture. Right now he is studying for the Virginia Bar that he takes in August. Then he will go to Peru with some friends after he takes the bar ( his reward to himself) . We are excited that he still lives pretty close and can come visit occassionally. He has brought some great kids home with him for general conference and holidays. We are excited that we will see him for short time over the 4th of July weekend. We are proud of him amd love him very much. Happy Birthday Ruffy!
