I serve on the board of the BYUMS Richmond Chapter as the Programs/Networking Chairman.
We did our first big Gala last year and now just completed our 2nd one at the Hilton Hotel Short Pump on May 15. I am the chairman of the Gala...putting together the Hotel/Speaker arrangements and overall follow-up. There are several others that serve with me that do a lot of work to make everything happen. We were excited to give away our first 4 scholarships to very deserving kids this year. We had Jack Rose ( EFY speaker from Northern Virginia) as our guest speaker. We worked hard all year and were glad that it all came together.
We met today to evaluate the event and are already planning for next year.
