Another Fun Family Tradition : Maggianos for Lunch!

A few years ago we started a family tradition of treating our grown children and their spouses to a special lunch at Maggianos ( a yummy Italian restaurant) after Christmas. It is adults only for a really fun at least 3 hour lunch feasting on a variety of great dishes. This year we went on Christmas Eve Day and celebrated Chelsea's 35 birthday. We always miss Jordan and Melissa out in Utah and hope some year they will get to be with us. We missed Clayton this year too as he was on a 2 week trip to Israel and other countries for the holidays. It is a great place with good service and great food and we eat until out hearts content....and then some. It is all you can eat family style We usually have enough food left over for another meal....which was true again this year. Although we love having the kids with us most of the time, it is really fun to have adults only to laugh and visit without alot of interruptions...especially for their parents.

This next year ( 2010) we are also planning an adults only family reunion weekend courtesy of Clayton. It is his turn. We will go to Washington DC for a fabulous time with his expertise.
