Easter weekend and Leo's 5th birthday

So I am going to try to do this blog thing...but I am already worried I won't be able to stay up with it. Or I will post something I regret or sounds so DUMB. I am so , so busy all the time.... and making way too many lists for my age. But I have to write things down when I think if them before my senioriitis sets in..several times a day. I usually get to blogging about 11:30-12:00 midnight. After I check a whole bunch, I get to mine. Sometimes I am so tired, I just have to crash. So no promises
( like you would really want one), but I think this is a good personal history thing. So I am going to give it a try.

We had a fun Easter weekend. Chelsea and Dana and their family came for several days. We went to the children;s museum, park, to see the Easter bunny at the mall, crafts at Chick-Fil-A. .....you get the picture. But the highlight was Leo's 5th birthday Garden Party in her backyard. Chloe and Felix were invited and I went along to help. Chloe painted the cute flower picture that you see for Leo's room....and each person in her family added a few strokes. Leo got a new bike and she, Chloe and Felix rode them all around the parking lot as Leo's soon-to-be school.Dana helped Greg get down out broken trees in the backyard. We also had a great Easter dinner at Denton's....lamb and lots of other specialties cooked by the gourmet chef himself. The kids sang in the primary choir at church....they were so cute. Greg and I were proud grandparents. Evie didn't want to come back to her seat after they were done....Grandpa had to go get her. Fischer wanted to hang over the rail. Brother Haubrock saved him. They livened sacrament meeting up a bit.

All in all, it was a very fun weekend. It is so nice for us to have some familly close and able to come visit. We missed those that weren't here.....but we are really looking foward to our family reunion in May at the beach where all 21 of us will be together for a week.

Way to go mom! The blog looks awesome (insert your infamous finger sizzle and a really fast AWEsome!) Great job on all of the pics. I will look into figuring out how to make them side by side like you want. If you want to do a slide show next time I think you can do it at: http://www.slide.com/arrange?bc=0&fx=0&tt=16&sk=0&cy=bb&th=0&sc=0
I haven't made one myself but I know it is a similar idea to creating your playlist. I'll try to walk you through it later tonight or tomorrow. Way to go on the blog though...

ps- I am cracking up that you have frank sinatra's "happy birthday" on your playlist. Is that in honor of Leo's birthday? And who knew you liked Smash Mouth, hahaha

I almost can't believe that you got your music updated and posted all by yourself. I must be an excellent tutor. hahah, jk.

You are one tech savvy G'ma!

pps- don't worry about writing something embarrassing... you can always go back and delete it later.

Anyway, I'm lovin' the blog.

Thanks for posting on my blog! You are so great. That is awesome you were able to work on Mitt's campaign. I would have loved to. Do you hear any rumors he might be McCains VP? One can only dream right? Thanks for sharing your cute thoughts!

Suzie!!! Welcome to the blogosphere! Your blog looks great - I love the music! And my son Jonathan's birthday is also the 4th of July!! What a perfect day for both of you to have been born!

I love you and appreciate all that you do for us. I especially love being included in your circle of family and friends - I feel like I have a big extended family of sisters, even though I'm biologically an only-child.

I know this blog will be spectacular, just like everything else you do! But know that your readers will just love it no matter what because it is another way to be connected to wonderful, unconditionally-loved YOU!!

Nice work Suzie! It's already looking really good. I was inspired to blog from Clayton first year of law school, which I soon quit but now I'm back at it. My advice is to not require yourself to blog on a schedule. Can't wait to read more of it! If you want to read my blog...email me so I can add you to a list of my readers!

Look at you!!! Starting your own great blog! Now you will just have to teach me all you know about creating one! I think eventually I'll need to get a little more computer-savy like you have become!
Thanks for hooking me in to your "thinking out loud." =)
Love ya
